Lucky Cineworld Unlimited members caught teen comedy Booksmart in advance on 6th May. This critically acclaimed coming of age comedy is the feature film debut of actor Olivia Wilde, focusing on two academic high-fliers determined to make their final night of high school the most debauched and outrageous ever.
The movie hinges on Wilde's perceptive direction and two winning central performances from Beanie Feldstein (Lady Bird) and Kaitlyn Dever (Beautiful Boy). So what did the Unlimited crowd make of the movie? We've rounded up several responses, starting with this from DeFoo.
I can thoroughly recommend viewing @BooksmartUK when it goes on general release; a very original take on the American high school coming-of-age movie - funny, gentle, intelligent, emotional. Loved it. Thanks @cineworld for another great #CineworldUnlimited preview.#Booksmart

Anita says the movie has already established itself as a firm favourite.

Kat says it will surely go down as a teen movie classic.
Just caught @BooksmartUK at the @cineworld #CineworldUnlimited screening & LOVED it. I thought they didn't make teen films like that anymore but @oliviawilde proved me wrong. Seek out from 24th May UK peeps. pic.twitter.com/eWYuwlYmht

Kyle lauds the movie for its authentic look at the messiness of teen friendships.
#Booksmart is a terrific time. A genuine Coming-of-Age tale with a twist that looks into friendship, relationships and the horrors of High School in a hilarious and genuinely authentic way. Highly recommended! @cineworld #CineworldUnlimited pic.twitter.com/o2TAbrx2CI

And Chris Pearson says the movie is a charmer, although it sounds like we'll also have to watch through our fingers at times...
BOOKSMART is just wonderful. Endearing, hilarious and agonising in equal measure. A real treat. #CineworldUnlimited pic.twitter.com/f1mMI96ctg

On the other hand William says Booksmart didn't do it for him – but he nevertheless loves the Unlimited journey he's on.
Whilst #BooksmartMovie had a few laughs it didn’t do it for me. Others seem to be raving about it though. Not every #CineworldUnlimited visit is going to be amazing but still great to see lots of films I would never otherwise see.
