Being grown-up is so boring, don't you think? That's why at Cineworld half terms are the ideal time to be more childish. And we've got an assortment of movies perfect for an action-packed family day out to the cinema.
Half term is the perfect opportunity to deploy our family ticket – that means adults pay kids prices and people of all ages get to enjoy the latest blockbuster extravaganzas on the big screen.
First up, Will Smith is the Genie in Guy Ritchie's live-action reboot of Disney's Aladdin. Newcomers Mena Massoud and Jasmine Scott are the likeable star-crossed couple Aladdin and Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari is Jafar in this colourful romp, with a score from original Aladdin composer Alan Menken and songs from The Greatest Showman's Pasek and Paul.
Then we have the return of our favourite animal cohorts in The Secret Life of Pets 2, from Minions and Despicable Me creators Illumination Entertainment. Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart are among the returning voice cast.
But don't forget a family ticket isn't just for half term! You can also use it for upcoming epics including Disney's remake of The Lion King, released on 14th July.
And before we even get to that, Tom Holland is back in action in Spider-Man: Far From Home, released on 2nd July.
