When Jerry Lewis died last week, Hollywood mourned one of the most prolific and enduring comedians of the 20th century.
But in contrast to his manic stage persona, off-screen Lewis had a reputation for being, shall we say, a bit prickly. Something The Hollywood Reporter found out when, in 2016, it interviewed the then 90-year-old star as part of a series on nonagenarians in showbusiness.
