Who knew there were 30 Greggs in Cardiff within a 31 mile radius? Well, now you do thanks to Newport Retail Park Cineworld manager, Mo Williams. No, that isn’t a Mo Farah typo – but it so easily could’ve been!
Mo Williams set himself the challenge to visit (and eat at) all the Greggs in Cardiff, running between each one, all in the aid of raising money for BBC Children in Need.
Spanning 12 hours on Friday, 14th November, he began his run at 6am with his first stop being Greggs Pentwyn, and finished at 6pm in Central Square.
He ended up raising over £2,200, and enjoying a selection of Greggs baked goods in the process. Really, he’s our hero – and we’re not just saying that because he’s a fellow colleague!
Speaking to WalesOnline, he said: "Cineworld support BBC Children in Need every year and I wanted to do my own thing because it is a charity that means a lot to me, I've seen the good work that they do. So I decided, I like running and I like Greggs, so let's combine the two."

While Mo did not transform into a beautiful butterfly, he did do an incredible (and tasty) thing for a good cause – and his JustGiving page is still live if you feel inspired and fancy throwing him a few quid.
