Fantastic Four are finally, finally joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). After two failed franchise attempts (one of which starred Chris Evans as the Human Torch), the original superhero family will be falling under the umbrella of Marvel Studios where they belong. (The characters were previously under the ownership of 20th Century Fox, whereas Disney is now in charge.)
Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige announced (via Deadline) that Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts will helm the new Fantastic Four movie. Watts is currently hard at work on Spider-Man 3, Tom Holland's third solo Spidey movie in the MCU. The film will showcase Jamie Foxx as Electro and Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus.
