Lily Collins (yes, daughter of Phil) stars in Mortal Instruments: The City of Bones. She plays Clary Fray, a teen who discovers she's descended from a line of mythical Shadowhunters – half humans, half angels who protect the world from demons. And you thought you had it tough when you were a teenager!
The City of Bones is adapted from the first book in Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series. The books have amassed quite a fanbase – in fact more than 22 million copies have been printed worldwide! Can we expect a new film series to rival the success of Twilight?
Well, that remains to be seen. In the meantime, watch the following interview in which Lily talks about Clary's dramatic destiny and what it was like to play her.
