NT Live: Inter Alia (September 4th)

Starring none other than Rosamund Pike, who is forever seared into our minds thanks to her unbelievable performance in Gone Girl, Inter Alia sees Pike step into the role of Jessica, a highly respected Crown Court Judge who enjoys leading a stable and loving family life outside of work. When a serious event threatens to throw that stability away, Jessica’s mettle is put to the test as she has to fight to retain all that she holds dear.

NT Live: Mrs. Warren’s Profession (October 23rd)

As a good rule of thumb, anything starring Imelda Staunton (The Crown, Harry Potter) is well worth seeing, which is why Mrs Warren’s Profession is worth adding to your calendar. In the play, Staunton acts alongside her actual daughter, Bessie Carter, with the pair representing two characters that couldn’t be further apart, despite their relation. Mrs Warren has managed to navigate a patriarchal society from within to her benefit, whilst her daughter Vivie has a more progressive idea of women’s liberty.

NT Live: The Fifth Step (November 27th)

The Fifth Step pairs Jack Lowden and Martin Freeman together as two men who meet by attending their local chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous. Even though Freeman’s character James is a seasoned veteran with years in the programme under his belt, Luka (Lowden) is a newcomer and in need of help, which is how James is assigned as his sponsor. While a friendship starts to blossom, the potential for it to implode gets ever nearer as Luka’s fifth step (confession) draws close.

NT Live: Hamlet (January 22nd, 2026)

Let’s face it, we’ve all seen at least one version of Hamlet adapted to the stage, but we can guarantee that you’ve never seen it like this. Director Robert Hastie’s modern reimaging of the Shakespearean classic brings a whole new edge to the classic story of betrayal and leadership, fronted by none other than Olivier Award winner Hiran Abeysekera. For fans of The Bard, this is one event you definitely don’t want to miss.

Bear in mind that tickets are limited for all NT Live performances, so if you want to be amongst the audience that gets to enjoy them then you’ll want to secure your seat as soon as possible.
