We're seriously stoked for this weekend's reveal of the first full trailer for The Batman. The DC Comics reboot comes from director Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes) and showcases Robert Pattinson in his Dark Knight debut.
The movie is being billed as a three-hour crime epic that takes Bruce Wayne back to his detective roots. His primary antagonist will be The Riddler – as imagined by Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood), the character is said to be more of a psychotic Jigsaw figure (clearly, we weren't expecting Jim Carrey's goofy turn from 1995's Batman Forever). The supporting cast includes Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred.
The full trailer is set to arrive as part of the 2021 DC Fandome event. We're poised to get loads of goodies from The Batman, along with key reveals of other DC titles incoming including The Flash, Black Adam and Shazam! 2. Check out the teaser below and discover the Robert Pattinson Batman voice that has sent the internet into meltdown. (Don't worry – he doesn't sound like he's gargling gravel in the manner of Christian Bale.)
