1. Acceptance of these terms
By entering the Cineworld SIX THE MUSICAL Facebook Prize Draw you will be deemed to have accepted and to have agreed to be bound by, these terms and conditions.
All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Prize Draw form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
2. Participants
Participants must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over to participate. This Prize Draw is not available to employees of Cineworld or Universal Pictures, their immediate families, or anyone else professionally connected with the Prize Draw.
3. How to enter
Entry to the Prize Draw is free and entered through commenting on the Cineworld Facebook post. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted.
The promoter will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid. There is no requirement to make any purchase in order to enter the Prize Draw.
Should an entrant wish to withdraw from the Prize Draw, the entrant will need to delete the comment and send a Facebook message to Cineworld Facebook Page account confirming the withdrawal and can only do so by the Prize Draw close date. Cineworld shall not action any withdrawal requests received after this closing date.
Entries will be rejected if they: i) have not been uploaded specifically for the promotion; ii) contain defamatory, malicious, indecent, immoral or other inappropriate content including sexist or racist language or imagery, iii) include the names, likenesses, photographs or similar of any individual without their express permission; iv) condone or encourage violent or anti-social behaviour; v) cause offence on the ground of religion, gender, sexual orientation, nudity, disability or age; or have negative attitudes about the promoter or any of its related partners.
Cineworld reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
4. Start date and closing date
The Prize Draw opens at 13:00 on 13/04/25 and closes at 23:59 on 17/04/25. Entries received outside of this time period will not be considered.
5. The draw
All entries received by the closing date will be collected together and SIX (6) winners will be drawn at random from all the valid entries received in accordance with these T&Cs. The winner will be selected at random by a computer process that produces verifiably random results or by an independent person, or under the supervision of an independent person. The draw will take place on or after 18/04/25.
The winners will receive a direct message through Facebook messenger notifying them that they have won within 10 working days of the Prize Draw closing date. Should the Promoter be unable to contact a winner or should a winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions. Cineworld’s decision regarding the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner may be required to take part in publicity and by entering this Prize Draw they hereby agree to taking part in any such publicity.
6. The prize
The Prize is provided by Universal Pictures Entertainment and is non-transferrable. There will be SIX (6) winners who will receive a Six The Musical signed poster.
No cash alternatives will be offered. If the prize becomes unavailable for any reason outside of Cineworld’s control, Cineworld reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value.
7. Exclusions
Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the prize package is excluded.
8. Winner’s details
The winners’ last names and counties will be disclosed to anyone who writes requesting the details within one month after the published closing date and encloses a stamped addressed envelope, to: Cineworld Six The Musical Facebook Prize Draw - Cineworld Cinemas Marketing Dept, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG.
9. Promoter and promoter’s rights
The promoter of this Prize Draw is Cineworld Cinemas Limited, trading as Cineworld Cinemas (company number: 01915767, registered office: 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG). Cineworld Cinemas reserves the right to (i) amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the Prize Draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to Cineworld Cinemas and not to Facebook and you release Facebook from any liability which may arise in connection with this Prize Draw.
10. Limitation of liability
Entrants agree to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to release and forever discharge Cineworld Cinemas Limited, and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, assigns and employees, and any entity or person connected with the Prize Draw from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever which may now or hereafter arise, including but not limited to any loss of enjoyment, costs, delays or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of or in connection with the Prize or Promotion.
11. Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Data protection
All data provided by participants will be treated in line with Cineworld Cinemas’ Privacy Policy (available on the Cineworld website at www.cineworld.com), and will only be used for the purposes of running the prize draw and administration of the Prize.
