We're excited to kick off 2022 with not one, but two, Cineworld Unlimited screenings. As an Unlimited member, you can catch some of the year's most provocative and memorable movies in advance of their nationwide release date, making you the envy of all your movie-loving mates. (Don't believe us? Check out the Secret Unlimited Screening reactions to Belfast.)
Our first Unlimited screening of the year is A Journal for Jordan, the latest movie to be directed by the esteemed Denzel Washington. Following his Oscar-winning theatrical adaptation Fences, Washington now adapts a tear-jerking real-life memoir about a romance thwarted by circumstance. Black Panther's Michael B. Jordan stars in this poignant story of a young boy who is informed of his parents' tender romance via a series of revealing diary entries.
A Journal for Jordan screens for Cineworld Unlimited members on Monday 17th January. Click here to book your tickets!
Next up, we're delighted to present the latest movie from one of Europe's leading filmmakers. Spain's Pedro Almodovar is renowned for his bold and vivid take on sexuality and identity, as witnessed in the critically acclaimed likes of All About My Mother and Talk to Her. He returns with his latest intensely personal project Parallel Mothers, which stars Almodovar's Oscar-winning muse Penelope Cruz.
The drama begins in a hospital with two pregnant women, one adolescent, and the other approaching middle-age. Initially complete strangers, the two women eventually bond as anxiety and naivete meet wisdom and experience.
Parallel Mothers screens for Cineworld Unlimited members on Wednesday 19th January. Click here to book your tickets!
