Unlimited members got to watch David Freyne’s Eternity last night, a high concept romcom in which souls must decide how they wish to spend the afterlife and with whom. Elizabeth Olsen plays Joan, stuck in a love triangle of sorts with the man she spent most of her life with and her first love who died in the war, played by Miles Teller and Callum Turner respectively.
Arriving at Cineworld this Friday, 5th December, we offered Unlimited members an advanced screening, and they were head over heels for Eternity.
Following on from a year of high concept romance movies (including A Big Bold Beautiful Journey), Mike was a big fan of the premise of Eternity and how the afterlife depicted was so inclusive, noting the relationship at the heart of the story was “funny, sad, and thoughtfully portrayed.”
A beautiful high concept romcom. Loved the take on the afterlife as a non denominational bureaucracy made up of lots of little individually tailored paradises and the central love triangle was funny, sad and thoughtfully portrayed.

We all love a bit of whimsy, and X user Cheltenham Cinematic was here for Eternity and how much heart it was packing.
#EternityMovie, such a beautiful film, which whilst whimsical, has a lot of heart. choosing a loving partner to share in for all #Eternity proves to be somewhat challenging for a twice married Joan with both of her true loves waiting for her at the afterlife terminus.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
Need an elevator pitch? Peter has got you covered – and they also loved Eternity, too!
Loved it. Hints of Powell and Pressburger and Capra with a sprinkle Eternal Sunshine. A lovely high concept romcom and great performances all round.

Helen agreed, and we’re glad it met all your expectations! Thinking about what comes after death can be scary, but Eternity definitely shifts that thinking.

And Emily reckons Eternity will actually exceed your expectations, which we love to hear!
However good you think this film is going to be before you walk into the cinema… it’s even better than that

Callum was also pleasantly surprised by Eternity.

Ben is joining the gang, and Eternity may have fast become his top watch of the year.

In fact, it may even be best that you go in with no pre-conceived ideas. Skip the trailer like John did and prepare to be wowed.
A real gem, hadn't seen a trailer, but well worth a watch.

And while there’s plenty of com to this romcom, you can also expect to get a little emotional. Harv isn’t afraid to admit they did!
laughed and cried! loved it!

Said it before and we'll say it again: love a bit of whimsy.

Did we mention there's also a great score? Alex is a big fan!

And, last but not least, Sam gave a beautiful review of Eternity, shouting out the incredible work of its trio of big names, as well as its supporting cast.

Make sure you book your tickets to see Eternity, out 5th December.
