The raucous new comedy No Hard Feelings, on release this Friday, shows us a side of Jennifer Lawrence that we've rarely seen on the big screen before. In this knockabout yet sweet-natured story, a brassic young woman coaxes a gawky teenager to engage with the wider world – but who's the individual who really needs to grow up?
That's where the fun starts, as marshalled by director Gene Stupnitsky who spun gold from his 2019 pre-teen-kids-on-a-rampage movie Good Boys. We caught up with Gene to discuss the making of the movie and what it took to get such an unexpected comic performance from Oscar-winner Lawrence.
No Hard Feelings is released at Cineworld on June 23rd so click the link below to get your tickets.
