Calling all horror fans, Cineworld is once again giving you the chance to experience the latest depraved offering from your favourite genre with its ninth Secret Screaming. What better way to spend your August Bank Holiday than in the chilling confines of your local Cineworld being scared witless? Well, the latest bout of jump scares, blood, core, and demonic happenings is coming your way on 25th August.
The 2025 film slate hasn't been short of incredible entries into the horror genre, and the latest Secret Screaming gives you the opportunity to see one of the upcoming horror movie release before everyone else.

What films have been shown at past Secret Screamings?
An exciting opportunity to see a brand new horror movie before its official release, in February horror fans watched both Heart Eyes and The Monkey before their respective release dates. It was the same with Drew Hancock’s sci-fi thriller, Companion, back in January. In recent months, Secret Screaming attendees have also watched The Ritual, Dangerous Animals, and Bring Her Back.
Secret Screenings always mean you'll be seeing a movie before it's out for the rest of the general public to watch, whether it's a horror movie special at a Secret Screaming or one of Cineworld's other Secret Screening events.
The possibilities of what you might be watching at the eighth Cineworld horror event are endless – but almost certainly full of blood, sweat, and screams.
There are some great horror sacrifices offerings still to come this year. Could it be The Conjuring: Last Rites, Black Phone 2 or something else entirely? You’ll have to book your tickets to find out. Whatever it is, you'll be seeing it before it is released to the general public.
