You certainly won’t be in the place the eye does not see if you watch Fire and Ash in IMAX

We cannot understate this: IMAX screens are huge. The auditorium is huge, the screen itself is huge, and that means the sound and visuals are huge, too. Given how ambitious James Cameron’s Avatar franchise has been – and how long in the making the follow-ups to the initial 2009 film were, Avatar: Fire and Ash deserves a screen worthy of the breadth of this project.

As Pandora comes back to life once again, IMAX really emphasises how seamless the visual effects of the production are. It makes Pandora and the Na’vi almost tangible. Taking your seat and get ready for a giant spectacle with vivid, dazzling clarity and heart-pounding sound.

Depending on which Cineworld you visit, you could experience Avatar: Fire and Ash in IMAX with Laser, the next-generation of 4K projection, equipped with a 12-channel sound system. You also have the option to watch Avatar: Fire and Ash in IMAX 3D.

4DX can make you truly ‘link up’ as the fire rises and the volcano tremors

Take to the skies on an Ikran or dive in with the Tulkan. Pandora is filled to the brim with new life and 4DX has you flying right alongside the Na’Vi. From the wind in your braided locks to the ripples of the illuminating oceans.

With conflict pass and parcel of existing as one Jake Sully, experience battles from your 4DX chair, juddering, coursing, and throwing you right into the fight with Jake and his family. As they meet a new Na’Vi tribe lead by Varang, who deal in the hotter elements, expect plenty of rumblings as a new war erupts.

Swoop across ScreenX and into the skies with Toruk Makto

Going to the cinema and being surrounded by the film you’ve got tickets to watch? Say less… Although we’re going to say more… ScreenX is an incredibly unique cinematic experience in that your screen stretches across 270° of the room, meaning you’ll be delivered action from all sides. An Ikran riding Toruk (that’s Jake Sulley’s Na’vi name to you fake fans) will swoop from your peripherals to right in front of you, as well as being in the thick of Pandora’s lush, green lands – as well as being right in the middle of many a battle field, too.

ScreenX, like 4DX, is exclusive to Cineworld in the UK, so make sure you’ve got your tickets to experience this phenomenon and see Pandora like you’ve never seen it before in Avatar: Fire and Ash.

Superscreen is one of the only vessels fit for the journey to Fire and Ash

Bringing together state-of-the-art projection on a wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling screen, Superscreen partners its big screen with Dolby Atmos speakers for an enhanced experience at Cineworld.

Take in all the gorgeous details of James Cameron’s latest trip to Pandora and book your Avatar: Fire and Ash Superscreen tickets. It’s just another way to really immerse yourself in the other world, upgrading from a standard screening of one of the biggest films of the year.
