1. Definitions

In these Gift Card and e-Gift Voucher Conditions, the following words have the meanings set out against them:

Cineworld Gift or Gift : a Gift Card, e-Gift Voucher, Gift Box or Gift Box Voucher, e-Gift Box, e-Gift Box Voucher or Unlimited Gift (each as defined below);

Cineworld's Terms of Entry: the general terms and conditions of Cineworld for customers' attendance at Cineworld's cinemas, as may be displayed at Cineworld cinemas or on its website under the heading Cineworld Cinema’s Terms of Entry;

Cineworld’s Online Terms of use: the terms of use for customers’ use of the Cineworld web sites at www.cineworld.co.uk and www.cineworld.ie, as displayed on such web sites;

Conditions: these Gift Card and e-Gift Voucher Conditions, Cineworld’s Online Terms of Use and Cineworld's Terms of Entry;

e-Gift Box: a selection of pre-paid codes contained within an email issued by Cineworld (“e-Gift Box Vouchers”) which can be redeemed for such cinema tickets, food and beverages as described in the e-Gift Box email during the relevant validity period (see condition 3.13 below). e-Gift Box Vouchers for cinema tickets may only be redeemed online at www.cineworld.co.uk, or, where the prepayment was made in Euros, only on the Cineworld Ireland Web Site at www.cineworld.ie (not valid for redemption in cinemas. e-Gift Box Vouchers for food and drink can be redeemed in selected Cineworld cinemas in the UK and the Republic of Ireland (not valid for redemption online) and are valid for six months (or 5 years in Ireland).

e-Gift Voucher: any Cineworld prepaid code contained within an attachment to an email issued by Cineworld (but not e-Gift Box Vouchers) which can be used to make purchases during the relevant validity period (see condition 3.19 below) on the Cineworld Web Site www.cineworld.co.uk or, where the prepayment was made in Euros, only on the Cineworld Ireland Web Site at www.cineworld.ie in accordance with these Conditions;

Gift Box: a seasonal gift box containing a selection of pre-paid paper vouchers (“Gift Box Vouchers”) issued by Cineworld which can be redeemed for such cinema tickets, food and beverages as described on the Gift Box Vouchers during the relevant validity period (see condition 3.8 below) in selected Cineworld cinemas in the United Kingdom or, if purchased in Euros, only in Cineworld cinemas in Ireland. Gift Box Vouchers for cinema tickets may be redeemed online on the Cineworld Web Site www.cineworld.co.uk, or, where the prepayment was made in Euros, only on the Cineworld Ireland Web Site at www.cineworld.ie in accordance with these Conditions (booking fees apply. Gift Box Vouchers for food and drink may only be redeemed in cinema (not online).

Gift Card: a pre-paid plastic card voucher (but not Gift Box Vouchers or Unlimited Gift Codes) issued by Cineworld which can be used to make purchases during the relevant validity period (see condition 3.4 below) in selected Cineworld cinemas in the United Kingdom, The Channel Islands and on Cineworld’s Web Site at www.cineworld.co.uk, or where prepayment was made in Euros, only in Cineworld cinemas in Ireland and on Cineworld’s Web Site at www.cineworld.ie in accordance with these Conditions;

Unlimited Gift: means either an Unlimited Gift Card available for purchase in Cineworld cinemas or an Unlimited Gift Voucher available for purchase online at www.cineworld.co.uk (which can be sent by post or email), each as described in condition 12 below.

"Transaction Value": the value of any cinema tickets, merchandise, food and beverages and/or part payment for subscription to Unlimited membership purchased with the Gift Card or e-Gift Voucher;

we/us/our/Cineworld: (i) Cineworld Cinemas Limited if you are a UK or Channel Islands resident or (ii) Adelphi Carlton Limited (trading as Cineworld Cinemas) if you are resident in the Republic of Ireland; User: anyone who has access to the Cineworld Gift; you/your/yours: the person to whom the Cineworld Gift is issued.

User: anyone who has access to the Cineworld Gift;

you/your/yours: the person to whom the Cineworld Gift is issued.

2. General

2.1 The Conditions apply to the purchase and use of all Cineworld Gifts and by purchasing the Cineworld Gift you agree to be legally bound by the Conditions. By using the Gift the User will be deemed to have accepted these Conditions. We have the right to amend or vary these Conditions from time to time at our sole discretion but changes will not apply retrospectively.

3. Use of Cineworld Gift Cards, Gift Boxes and e-Gift Vouchers

Gift Cards

3.1 The Gift Card is valid for use in Cineworld’s cinemas in the UK and The Channel Islands or on the Cineworld Web Site at www.cineworld.co.uk or, where pre-payment was made in Euros, only in Cineworld cinemas in the Republic of Ireland and at www.cineworld.ie. The value on the Gift Card can be used towards payment for the purchase of cinema tickets, food and beverages and merchandise in Cineworld cinemas and towards payment for the purchase of cinema tickets or part payment of the cost of subscription for Unlimited membership online. Gift Cards may not be used to purchase other Gift Cards or e-Gift Vouchers.

3.2 You may give the Gift Card to anyone else to use but the Gift Card may not be re-sold. Please make sure that you and/or the recipient keep the Gift Card safe as anyone who presents the Gift Card or has access to the Gift Card number and PIN will be able to redeem it.

3.3 Where the value on the Gift Card is less than the total Transaction Value, the User will be required to make up the difference in price (if redemption is on one of our web sites such payment will need to be by credit, debit, or charge card but may not be made using other Gift Cards or e-Gift Vouchers).

3.4 Gift Card validity period: The Gift Card shall be valid for 24 months (or 5 years in Ireland) from the date of purchase or, if later, the date of the last card payment or top-up made. Once the entire balance has been used and no top up has been made within 30 days from that date, the gift card will be deactivated and will not be re-usable. Any balance unused in this 24 month period (or 5 year period in Ireland) will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

3.5 When the Gift Card is used the amount of the Transaction Value will be deducted from the balance on the Gift Card. The remaining Gift Card balance will be displayed on the receipts issued when the User uses the card to make a purchase. The balance may also be checked in our cinemas at any till point or online at www.cineworld.co.uk/gifts or www.cineworld.ie/gifts (if in Euros).

Gift Boxes

3.6 Gift Box Vouchers are valid for use online or in Cineworld’s cinemas in the UK and Ireland. Gift Box Vouchers may only be redeemed for the specific type of cinema ticket or food and/or beverage item described on the face of the relevant voucher and may only be used once. Gift Box Vouchers may not be exchanged for any other vouchers or items or be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

3.7 You may give the Gift Box to anyone else to use but neither the Gift Box nor the Gift Box Vouchers may be re-sold. Please make sure that you and/or the recipient keep the Gift Box (and the Gift Box Vouchers) safe as anyone who presents the Gift Box Vouchers will be able to redeem them. No refunds or replacement vouchers will be issued to you or the User if the Gift Box Vouchers are lost or stolen.

3.8 Gift Box Vouchers validity period: Gift Box Vouchers are valid for the period stated on the face of the relevant Gift Box Voucher, namely a 6 month period from 26 December in the year of purchase until 30 June of the following year (or a 5 year period in Ireland from 26 December in the year of purchase). Any Gift Box Vouchers not used within this time period will be cancelled and no refund or alternative vouchers will be provided.

3.9 To redeem a Gift Box Voucher in the cinema the User must present the relevant Gift Box Voucher at the selected Cineworld cinema box office (for cinema tickets only) or at the Snacks Counter (for cinema tickets, food and beverages). On issue of the relevant cinema tickets and collection of the food and drink items the Gift Box Vouchers will be retained by us and cancelled. Gift Box Vouchers may be redeemed online (for cinema tickets only) at www.cineworld.com by entering the 17 digit e-code underneath the QR code on the front of the voucher. When booking online using the e-code (i) credit/debit card information must be provided (for processing purposes) and (ii) a booking fee per person for whom a seat is booked will apply. Customers who do not wish to pay the fee can exchange this voucher for a ticket in person at the cinema box office.

3.10 Gift Boxes are an offer which Cineworld may make available from time to time at its discretion. Gift Boxes are sold on a first come first served basis and, therefore, are subject to availability. Cineworld reserves the right to refuse orders for Gift Boxes. Cineworld will endeavour to supply all food and drink items specified on the relevant Gift Box Vouchers, but reserves the right to substitute the food and drink items with alternative products of an equivalent or greater value where not available.

e-Gift Boxes

3.11 e-Gift Box Vouchers for cinema tickets are valid for use online at www.cineworld.co.uk, or, where the prepayment was made in Euros, only on the Cineworld Ireland Web Site at www.cineworld.ie. e-Gift Box Vouchers for food and drink may only be used in cinemas not online. e-Gift Box Vouchers may only be redeemed for the specific type of cinema ticket or food and/or beverage item described in the e-Gift Box email and may only be used once. e-Gift Box Vouchers may not be exchanged for any other vouchers or items or be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

3.12 You may give the e-Gift Box to anyone else to use but neither the e-Gift Box nor the e-Gift Box Vouchers may be re-sold. Please make sure that you and/or the recipient keep the e-Gift Box (and the e-Gift Box Vouchers) safe as anyone who has access to the e-Gift Box Voucher pre-paid codes will be able to redeem them. No refunds or replacement vouchers will be issued to you or the User if the e-Gift Box Vouchers are lost or stolen.

3.13 e-Gift Box Vouchers validity period: e-Gift Box Vouchers are valid for the period stated in the e-Gift Box email, namely a 6 month period from 26 December in the year of purchase until 30 June of the following year (or a 5 year period in Ireland from 26 December in the year of purchase). Any e-Gift Box Vouchers not used within this time period will be cancelled and no refund or alternative vouchers will be provided.

3.14 To redeem an e-Gift Box Voucher for cinema tickets, the User must make a booking online at www.cineworld.co.uk, or, where the prepayment was made in Euros, only on the Cineworld Ireland Web Site at www.cineworld.ie and enter the relevant e-Gift Box Voucher code where prompted (please see Condition 5 (Online Ticket purchases) of the Cineworld Website Terms of Use for more details). To redeem an e-Gift Box Voucher for food or drink and to collect the items the User will need to present the e-Gift Box email (containing the QR code) at the Snacks Counter in the cinema either on their mobile phone or on a paper print out for scanning by a Cineworld staff member. On issue of the relevant cinema tickets and collection of the food and drink items the e-Gift Box Vouchers will be cancelled.

3.15 e-Gift Boxes are an offer which Cineworld may make available from time to time at its discretion. e-Gift Boxes are sold on a first come first served basis and, therefore, are subject to availability. Cineworld reserves the right to refuse orders for e-Gift Boxes. Cineworld will endeavour to supply all food and drink items specified in the e-Gift Box email, but reserves the right to substitute the food and drink items with alternative products of an equivalent or greater value where not available.

e-Gift Vouchers

3.16 The e-Gift Voucher is valid for use on Cineworld’s Web Site at www.cineworld.co.uk, or, where the prepayment was made in Euros, only on the Cineworld Ireland Web Site at www.cineworld.ie. The value on the e-Gift Voucher may be used towards payment for the purchase of cinema tickets (and any applicable booking fees, see condition 3.22 below) and/or subscription to Cineworld’s Unlimited membership scheme. e-Gift Vouchers may not be used to purchase other e-Gift Vouchers or Gift Cards or to make purchases in any Cineworld cinemas.

3.17 You may give the e-Gift Voucher to anyone else to use but the e-Gift Voucher may not be re-sold. Please make sure that you and/or the recipient keep the e-Gift Voucher safe as anyone who has access to the e-Gift Voucher prepaid code and PIN will be able to redeem it.

3.18 Where the value on the e-Gift Voucher is less than the total Transaction Value, the User will be required to make up the difference in price by making an online payment using a debit, credit or charge card (but not another e-Gift Voucher or Gift Card).

3.19 e-Gift Voucher validity period: The e-Gift Voucher shall be valid for 12 months (or 5 years in Ireland) from the date of purchase or if later the date of the last transaction made. Any balance unused in this 12 month period (or 5 year period in Ireland) will be cancelled and no refund will be given.

3.20 When you use the e-Gift Voucher the amount of the Transaction Value will be deducted from the balance on the e-Gift Voucher. The remaining e-Gift Voucher balance will be displayed on screen and can be checked online at www.cineworld.co.uk/giftcards.

Purchasing and using Cineworld Gifts online

3.21 By purchasing a Cineworld Gift online you are expressly requesting that you and/or a User is able to immediately start using the Gift from the date of receipt of our email confirming acceptance of your order.

3.22 When a Gift is used to make a purchase or is redeemed online, the User will need to enter details of a debit, credit or charge card for identification and processing purposes and as required for subscription for Unlimited membership. Where cinema tickets are booked online and paid for using a Gift Card, e-Gift Voucher or Gift Box voucher a booking fee for each person for whom a seat is booked will usually apply. Please see Cineworld’s Website Terms of Use for further details.

3.23 When a Gift is used to make a purchase or is redeemed online, the User will need to collect their cinema tickets at their chosen Cineworld cinema by presenting (i) the booking reference issued in the email from Cineworld confirming completion of the online transaction or (ii) the payment card used in connection with such online purchase. Alternatively, where e-ticketing is available for a particular booking, the User may use the e-ticket attached to the email confirmation of booking (“e-ticket”) and use that e-ticket in the chosen Cineworld cinema as their cinema ticket (please see Condition 5 (Online Ticket Purchases) of the Cineworld Website Terms of Use for more details).

3.24 Cineworld Gifts may not be exchanged for cash.

3.25 Defaced, illegible, or photocopied Gifts will not be accepted.

3.26 The Cineworld Gift does not entitle the User to preferential treatment over other Cineworld customers for the purchase of cinema tickets, merchandise, food and beverages and/or Unlimited membership, access to cinemas or otherwise.
3.27 The Cineworld Gift does not entitle you to any credit or other form of financial accommodation.

3.28 Other taxes or costs may exist in relation to the Cineworld Gift that are not imposed by us.

3.29 The number, location and availability of Cineworld cinemas in any area are subject to change. A list of current Cineworld cinemas is available from www.cineworld.com or on written request to the Customer Services Department enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope.

4. Cancellation rights

4.1 Where you have purchased a Gift Card, e-Gift or Unlimited Gift (sent by email) online, you may cancel your purchase and claim a refund at any time up to fifteen (15) calendar days from (and including) the day on which you receive our email confirming acceptance of your order (the "Cancellation Period"). If the Gift Card or  e-Gift Voucher or Unlimited Gift has been used before your cancellation has been processed you will only receive a refund of the balance remaining on the Gift Card or e-Gift Voucher at that time. If the Unlimited Gift has been used, you will not be able to cancel your purchase of the Unlimited Gift.

4.2 You may cancel your purchase of the Gift Box e-Gift Box or Unlimited Gift (sent by post) and claim a refund at any time up to fifteen (15) calendar days from (and including) the day on which you receive our email confirming acceptance of your order (the "Cancellation Period"). If any of the Gift Box Vouchers, e-Gift Box Vouchers or the Unlimited Gift have been used before your cancellation has been processed the amount refunded will be reduced to reflect such usage. If you asked us to send the Gift Box or Unlimited Gift to you or the gift recipient by post, then the premium paid for such postage will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.

4.3 If you wish to cancel your online purchase of a Gift Card or Gift Box , please send it by registered post to the Customer Services Department enclosing the Gift Card, Gift Box or Unlimited Gift (including the relevant Gift Box Vouchers) with your written request to cancel. It is your responsibility to return the relevant Gift Card or Gift Box to us immediately in the same condition in which it was received, at your own cost and risk. If you fail to do so a reasonable amount equivalent to the value of the relevant items  will be deducted from the amount refunded to you. If you wish to cancel your purchase of an e-Gift Voucher, e-Gift Box or Unlimited Gift please contact the Customer Services Department stating the e-Gift Voucher code, the e-Gift Box Voucher codes or the Unlimited Gift code and your wish to cancel. If you would like to use our template cancellation form it is available to download on our website at www.cineworld.com/terms.

4.4 Once the Cancellation Period has expired you will not be able to cancel your online purchase of the Cineworld Giftor claim any refund in that respect. p>

5. Defective Cineworld Gifts

5.1 If the Gift Card is defective, you must return it to the Customer Services Department as soon as possible for a free replacement. If the e-Gift Voucher code, Gift Box Voucher code,  an e-Gift Box Voucher code or Unlimited Gift code does not work, you must contact the Customer Services Department as soon as possible so the e-Gift Voucher code, Gift Box Voucher code,  e-Gift Box Voucher code or Unlimited Gift code can be cancelled and a replacement issued to you. Our liability in such cases is limited to replacement of the defective Gift Card or issue of a new code to the same value of the outstanding balance on the original Gift at the time of replacement.

6. Questions and complaints

6.1. All complaints or queries in relation to any purchases of Cineworld Gifts should be addressed to the Cineworld Customer Services Department in writing via our online contact form, or by email to [email protected] or by post to 8th Floor Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG.

6.2.    Alternative dispute resolution is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court. If you are not happy with how we have handled any complaint, you may want to use alternative dispute resolution.

6.3.    For customers in Republic of Ireland only: The European Commission has established a website for online dispute resolution which is available at www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, and which is designed to assist consumers in resolving disputes online without having to go to court.

7. Liability

7.1 Except as expressly provided in the Conditions, all warranties, conditions or other terms in favour of you or the User implied by Statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7.2 Nothing in the Conditions is intended nor shall it be construed to limit our liability for fraud or death or for personal injury caused by our negligence.

7.3 We shall in no circumstances be liable if one or more Cineworld cinemas are closed permanently or temporarily or if a Cineworld website is unavailable, for whatever reason or if a particular film or item of merchandise, food or beverage is not available for whatever reason.

7.4 We shall not be liable to you or the User by reason of any failure or delay in performing any of our obligations in relation to any Cineworld Gift under the Conditions if the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control.

7.5 We shall not be liable to you or the User in respect of any indirect or consequential loss, damage, costs or expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with any Cineworld Gift .

7.6 Our liability to you or the User shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Cineworld Gift.

7.7 We shall not be liable to you or the User in the event of loss, theft, unauthorised use or re-sale of any Cineworld Gift.

8. Information provided

8.1 You must ensure that the information you provide ("Personal Information") is accurate and complete. You acknowledge that Cineworld is entitled to handle any personal information that you supply when purchasing a Cineworld Gift in accordance with our  Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Conditions.

9. Invalidity/Unenforceability

9.1 If any part of the Conditions is found by a court or any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable then such part shall be severed from the remainder of the Conditions which shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

10.1 We will only write and communicate with you in English.

10.2 English law governs these Conditions and all aspects of our relationship, unless your address you give us when purchasing the Cineworld Gift is in Scotland, when Scottish law applies or in the Republic of Ireland, when Irish law applies.

11. Status

11.1 Cineworld Cinemas Limited (company registered number 01915767, registered office 8th Floor Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG) operates cinemas in the United Kingdom and the Channel Islands with VAT number 606197048.

11.2 Adelphi Carlton Limited, trading as Cineworld Cinemas (registered number 7640, registered office 5th Floor, Block E, Iveagh Court, Harcourt Road, Dublin 2, Republic of Ireland with VAT number 8B41247E) operates cinemas in the Republic of Ireland.

12. Unlimited Gifts

12.1 There are various gift options available to give your friends and family the gift of membership to Cineworld’s Unlimited subscription scheme. Before you buy, please note the following about Unlimited membership subscription:

• Your gift recipient must be aged 16 years or over to apply for Unlimited membership.

• To use Unlimited membership, an online My Cineworld account and a mobile/smart device (Android version 9.0 or iOS version 16.1 or above) will be required.

• A valid debit/credit card must be provided during registration for Unlimited, although Unlimited membership fees will not be charged to the User’s payment card during the first 3 months of membership. 

• Unless cancelled, Unlimited membership automatically renews after the first 3 months, the Unlimited Member’s payment card will be charged for future monthly membership renewals at the then-current price for their Unlimited Membership Group until the Unlimited membership is cancelled in accordance with the Unlimited Membership Terms ,available at www.cineworld.com/terms/unlimited-card.

12.2 Unlimited Gift Card (only available for purchase in cinemas): a Gift Card issued by Cineworld which has been credited with sufficient value to enable the User to pay for their first three (3) months subscription to Cineworld’s Unlimited membership scheme (for the Unlimited Membership Group specified at the time of purchase of the Unlimited Gift Card), by redeeming the Gift Card during the validity period (see below) at www.cineworld.com. The User would be required to make a supplementary payment at the time of redemption of the Unlimited Gift Card if they select a different Unlimited Membership Group (with a higher monthly fee) for their subscription or where the price of the Unlimited membership fees has been increased following the date of purchase of the Unlimited Gift Card.

12.3. Unlimited Gift Cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase or if later, the date of the last card payment or top up. 

12.4. All terms and conditions for Gift Cards shall apply to the Gift Card contained in the Unlimited Gift Box so, alternatively, the Gift Card may be used to make purchases of cinema tickets, food and drink in accordance with condition 3.1 above during the relevant validity period.

12.5. Unlimited Gift Voucher (by post or email) 3 months membership (only available for purchase online): a voucher (sent by post) or e-voucher (sent by email) which may be exchanged online within 6 months of purchase for the first 3 months of Unlimited membership subscription (in any Group 3 cinema listed at https://www.unlimitedcineworld.com/uk) for one person. Postage charge applies for Unlimited Gift Voucher sent by post.  

12.6. Unlimited Gift Voucher (by post or email) 12 months membership (only available for purchase online): a voucher (sent by post) or e-voucher (sent by email) which may be exchanged online within 6 months of purchase for the first 12 months of Unlimited membership subscription (in any Group 3 cinema listed at https://www.unlimitedcineworld.com/uk) for one person. Postage charge applies for Unlimited Gift Voucher sent by post.  

12.7. General terms for Unlimited Gifts: Sections 1 to 11 of the Cineworld’s ‘Gift Cards and e-Gift card’s Terms and Conditions above apply to the purchase and use of Unlimited Gifts

12.8. If the Unlimited Gift is lost or expires, no refund will be provided. If the Unlimited Gift is redeemed and later the Unlimited membership is cancelled, no refund or replacement of the Unlimited Gift will be provided.

12.9. Unlimited Gifts may not be used in conjunction with any other offer.

12.10 No cash alternatives and Unlimited Gifts may not be re-sold.

12.11. Cineworld may change the terms on which Unlimited Gifts are made available for sale at any time without notice.

13. Night out for Two Gift

Terms and Conditions:

1. This Night out for Two Gift (‘Gift’) includes two(2) tickets (adult or child) for any standard 2D screening, one (1)regular carbonated soft drink and one (1) large popcorn (sweet or salted, excluding salted caramel) in any Cineworld cinema, excluding Cineworld Leicester Square and Cineworld Dublin. 
2. Uplift payable for 3D, IMAX, 4DX, Superscreen, ScreenX and premium seating if available. 3D glasses will need to be purchased at an additional cost.
3. This Gift is not valid for Event Cinema, Special Unlimited Screenings, Special Advance Screenings or Movies for Juniors.
4. This Gift can be redeemed in cinema or tickets can be booked online at www.cineworld.com or on the Cineworld App.
5. Tickets and retail products are subject to availability. Tickets must be booked in one transaction. Popcorn and drinks must be collected in the same transaction. If products are not available, Cineworld may substitute with any other product of the same value.
6. This Gift is valid for twelve (12)months from the date of purchase. Please retain receipt for reference. This Gift will be cancelled without refund if not used by expiry date and will not be extended or replaced.
7. If this Gift is lost or used to book tickets which are later cancelled, no replacement voucher or refund will be provided.
8. This Gift is not transferable and may not be re-sold or used in conjunction with any other offer.  No cash alternatives.

17. Cineworld’s terms and conditions for the sale of retail items and merchandise online

1. In addition to the other sections of the Online Terms of Use and the Gift Card and e-Gift Voucher Conditions, the following terms (“Terms”)  apply when you purchase merchandise ("retail items") through the Cineworld Website or the App. These Terms do not apply to purchases of tickets, Gifts, Gift Cards, Gift Boxes, e-Gift Cards or Unlimited Membership, to which other terms apply.

2. Retail items may only be purchased for your own personal use and may not be re-sold or used for commercial purposes or financial gain.

3. By requesting retail items through the Website or the App, you are placing an order for retail item(s) on the terms that the order is only deemed accepted by and binding on Cineworld (“we” or “us”) once we have processed valid payment and sent you an email confirmation of your order. We reserve the right not to accept orders.

4. Other than the rights to cancel during the cancellation period as detailed below, once the confirmation email has been sent, the purchase price is non-refundable and no changes may be made to your order. We are not responsible in the event you select the wrong retail items when placing an order with us online.

5. We will use the name and contact details you provide during the online order process to deliver the retail item(s). If supply of the retail item(s) is delayed by an event outside of our control, we will endeavour to contact you to let you know and take reasonable steps to reduce the delay. No compensation for delay will be payable, but if the delay is likely to be substantial, you may contact Cineworld’s Customer Service Team via the online form to end the contract and receive a refund for any retail items you have paid for in advance, but not received.

6. All retail items are subject to availability.  We will endeavour to supply all retail items ordered, but we reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a refund where not available.

7. Retail items are sold at the prices for the relevant items as stated on the Cineworld Website or the App at the time of purchase. Not all products, prices, offers and discounts for retail items available in-cinema will be available through the Website or the App and not all products, prices, offers and discounts available on the Website or the App will be available in-cinema. No difference in price paid at the time of purchase may be claimed where prices, offers and discounts differ in cinema to those on the Website, at the time of purchase or delivery of retail items or otherwise.

8. If a pricing error occurs, and the error could reasonably be recognised by you as an error, we are not obliged to supply the retail item at the incorrect price, even after the confirmation page has been displayed and confirmation email has been sent to you.

9. Images of retail items displayed on the Website are for illustrative purposes only, are not to scale and the colour of the retail item may not exactly match that shown.

10. All product designs, images, and branding of retail items are property of Cineworld and our partners and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission of the rights owner.

Cancellation Rights

11. You may cancel your order for retail items and claim a refund by notifying us in writing using Cineworld’s online contact form no later than 14 days after the day the retail item is delivered (the "Cancellation Period") and then returning the retail item to Cineworld Cinemas Limited, Customer Services Department at 8th Floor Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG, within 14 days of notifying us  of your wish to cancel your purchase.  Returns will be at your own cost and will not be reimbursed.

12. Once the Cancellation Period has expired you will not be able to cancel your purchase or claim a refund of the value of the retail item.

13. If the retail item is not returned in time or has been handled in a way which would not be acceptable in-store, we may reduce the refund, to compensate for the reduced value of the retail item. For example, we may reduce the refund if the retail item's condition is not "as new", price tags have been removed, has been used and cannot be re-sold for hygiene reasons (eg cups and popcorn containers), the packaging is damaged or accessories are missing. In some cases, because of the way you have treated the retail item, no refund may be due.

14. Refunds are usually issued within 14 days of Cineworld’s receipt of the returned retail item.  Refunds will be issued to the method used for payment of the original purchase and no fee for issuing the refund will be charged.
    
     
15. Changes.  We can change these Terms and any retail item(s) to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements, to correct errors and make minor technical adjustments and improvements. These are changes that don't affect your use or enjoyment of the retail item or disadvantage you under our contract. We do not accept amendments by you to these Terms.

16. Faults. If there is something wrong with the retail item, you must contact us via Cineworld’s online contact form.

17. Your statutory rights. We have a legal duty to supply goods and services that conform with the contract. You, as a consumer, also have certain legal rights when purchasing goods and services. These are often referred to as “statutory rights”, as they are derived from laws such as the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For detailed information please visit the Citizens Advice website www.citizensadvice.org.uk.  Nothing in these Terms affects these rights and nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude Cineworld’s liability where it would be unlawful to do so. In particular, Cineworld does not limit or exclude liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors.

18. Limiting Cineworld’s liability. Except as stated in section17, we will not be liable under or in connection with these Terms (howsoever arising and including as a result of breach of contract, tort (including negligence) or statutory duty) for any loss or damage in circumstances where:

(i) there has been no breach of a legal duty of care owed by us;

(ii) the loss or damage was not caused by us breaching these Terms;

(iii) the loss or damage was not, at the time you agreed to these Terms, a reasonably foreseeable consequence of us breaching these Terms (loss or damage is “foreseeable” if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time you agreed to these Terms, both of us knew it might happen);

(iv) the loss or damage was caused by an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control such as natural disasters, industrial action, terrorist attack, riots, epidemics, any law or any action taken by a government or public authority, shortage of supplies, staff or essential utilities or services; or

(v) you could have avoided the loss or damage by taking reasonable action.

19. Cineworld’s liability under or in connection with these Terms and the User’s purchase of retail item(s), including for its breach of these Terms, is limited to the price you paid for the retail item and all claims for loss of profit or indirect or consequential loss are wholly excluded.

20. Your personal information.  We will use and process your personal data to fulfil your orders for retail items as explained in our Privacy Policy.   

21. Transfer of contract rights.  You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without our prior written consent. We can transfer all or any part of our rights or obligations under these Terms to another organisation but your rights under these Terms will not be affected.

22. If any part of these Terms is disallowed or held to be ineffective by any court or other competent body, the rest of these Terms will not be affected.

23. Governing law. These Terms are governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland, Northern, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in. 

24. We will only write and communicate with you in English.
