May is a bumper month for Cineworld Unlimited screenings, with some fabulous movies being shown to members throughout the month. Unlimited card holders have already been treated to a preview of new rom-com Love Again, and a rare showing of the epic Italian adventure The Eight Mountains. And there are more great films for Unlimited members to look forward to at Cineworld over the next couple of weeks, including Hypnotic (May 15th), Beau is Afraid (May 16th), Sisu (May 17th) and The Machine (May 25th).
On Wednesday (May 10th), it was the turn of Kelly Fremon Craig's coming-of-age drama Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. Based on the best-selling novel by Judy Blume, this poignant tale centres around an 11-year-old girl (Abby Ryder Fortson) who has to navigate a whole new set of feelings, emotions and friends after her family move from the city to the suburbs. Also starring Rachel McAdams and Kathy Bates, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret opens for general release at Cineworld on Friday May 19th – meaning that Unlimited members got to see it a full nine days before everyone else. Here are their reactions to the film on Twitter...

This Unlimited member felt that the film really struck a chord, and praised the leading actress for her performance.
My preferred funny heart-warming type of movie. Great from Abby Ryder Fortson who seems to fit the role perfectly. A well written script that has the humour in all the right places. Highly Recommended 👍

This movie fan reckons that the film is so good, it could become an enduring favourite.
It was brilliant, really captured that time and awkwardness brilliantly. Deserves to be a big hit and watched for years to come.

This person experienced a whole range of emotions when watching the movie, and loved every minute of it.
Not read the book so can’t say how faithful it is but that was everything I want from a coming of age tale. Funny, moving and occasionally a little bit cringe, just like adolescence itself. Abby Ryder Fortsen is a real find

This Unlimited member thought the film made a nice change from the big-budget blockbusters they've seen lately.
Really lovely film :) perfect break from all the action films I’ve been watching recently. Made me smile a lot and a few LOL’s as well. Hopefully it does well

This person felt that the film did justice to Judy Blume's classic novel.
Loved it. They did such a good job bringing the book to the screen. Abby is a super young actress.

Finally, this film fan thought the film could've been funnier, but they loved it overall.
I didn't think it was as funny as @EdgeOf17 but I still thought it was lovely, great acting by the main characters, fab soundtrack to boot! Will more than likely see it again and may try to read the book 📖 as well 👌
