Jonathan Bailey and Scarlett Johansson’s smooch on the red carpet is so yesterday – now it’s all about Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, who are currently promoting the reboot of The Naked Gun.
Set to be released this Friday, 1st August, Neeson plays Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr., son of the original leader of the Police Squad, as originally played by Leslie Nielsen. The only man up for the job of protecting the precinct and the world at large, he is joined by co-star Pamela Anderson who plays Beth Davenport, a femme fatale whose brother has been murdered.
As with all the spoof-comedy movies that have come before in The Naked Gun franchise, expect plenty of ridiculous moments and mishaps from a pair that truly is giving chemistry on and off the screen.

Recently Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson stepped outside Cineworld in Leicester Square for the UK premiere of The Naked Gun. Posing for photos, Pamela delivered a kiss to Liam’s cheek – and the whole world swooned. Really, it sealed the deal on what has already been a press tour filled with ridiculously cute moments.
Liam Neeson said he is “madly in love” with Pamela Anderson
Talking to People about filming The Naked Gun with co-star Pamela Anderson, Liam admitted to being “madly in love” with Pamela, commending her work ethic on set. He said, “With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film.”
Liam wasn’t the only one to gush. Pamela described him as “the perfect gentleman. He brings out the best in you… with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him.”
Given this role is a little left field for Neeson, who usually plays quite stoic characters, Pamela was also quick to say that he is hilarious in the crime comedy.

Baked goods are the way to most people’s hearts, right? Right. Turns out Pamela baked sourdough bread for Liam while on set of The Naked Gun. She also baked him cookies, all of which she left in his dressing room. Does it get any more wholesome than this?
They went on romantic dinners together (with their assistants)
While filming The Naked Gun, Pamela Anderson revealed to Entertainment Weekly that she "invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming." And that’s on method acting.
Recreating the iconic scene from the Titanic
They’re just like us! Because, let’s face it, we’ve all tried to recreate the iconic scene between Jack and Rose (Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winselet) at the bow of the ship, in which Rose holds her arms out and shouts “I’m flying, Jack!” while he holds on tight to her from behind. Well, Pamela and Liam attempted to have their own Titanic moment along the Thames to varying degrees of success and a pretty hilarious look to camera from Neeson.
