Cineworld Unlimited members were treated to yet another advance screening last night as we invited them to come and see the new comedy horror film Death Of A Unicorn (on general release from April 4th – book your tickets at the bottom of the page). Directed by Alex Scharfman, the movie stars Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega as a father and daughter who accidentally kill a young unicorn in a road accident, making them the target for the creature’s vengeful parents. With Will Poulter, Téa Leoni and Richard E. Grant also making appearances, this quirky release has plenty going for it – but what did Unlimited members make of it? Here are just some of their tweets…
Advanced screenings are just one of the benefits of Cineworld Unlimited membership. You can also enjoy unlimited free visits to the cinema, discounts on snacks and drinks, plus offers on our Premium Format screenings (including IMAX, 4DX and Superscreen). To find out more, click here.

Totally bonkers, but great fun. Top performances from a stacked cast.

One actor in particular was singled out by this viewer, who also loved the music in the film.
It was so much fun! Will Poulter absolutely steals the limelight for me and brings a fantastic comedic performance with his timing. Such a quirky set of characters that gel well together and a good soundtrack to go with it! Really good time ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

And this Unlimited member felt that Death Of A Unicorn struck the perfect balance between horror and comedy.
It was exactly the film I needed this week! Silly and entertaining with just the right amount of gore and humour 🫶

Finally, this Unlimited member felt that Death Of A Unicorn ticked a lot of boxes – and even felt that they learned something from the experience.
It was brilliant!! Strong characterization all around, many tense moments and points where I didn’t know what would happen next, and I loved how it incorporated art history and unicorn mythology. I really liked the ending too! 💜
