One unforgettable tale.

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (16th January)

Smart horror with bite – buzz is building for the third chapter in the 28 Days Later saga, and early reactions hint this could be the genre-defining movie of 2026. Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ralph Fiennes lead the charge, pulling us deep into a world three decades post-outbreak. How’s humanity holding up? And what fresh nightmares are waiting in the dark?

Return to Silent Hill (23rd January)

Some horror films linger long after the credits roll – and Return to Silent Hill looks set to join that club. Based on the iconic psychological horror game Silent Hill 2, this adaptation promises haunting sets, grotesque creatures, and a truly unsettling atmosphere. With chilling visuals, layered psychological tension, and emotional storytelling, this one will keep the shivers coming all winter long.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die (30th January)

Love the idea of a film that’s part Terminator 2, part Groundhog Day? So do we. Packed with sharp humour, high-octane action, and a dash of genius, this tech-obsessed sci-fi romp also delivers a magnetic turn from Sam Rockwell – just one of many reasons you won’t want to miss it.

February

Cold Storage (6th February)

There’s an outbreak. Liam Neeson’s suited up in biohazard gear. A parasitic fungus escapes containment – hungry for flesh and looking grotesquely macabre. The stakes? The end of the world, and it’s pretty sick. Stranger Things’ Joe Keery and Barbarian’s Georgina Campbell join the fight in this claustrophobic, gore-soaked thriller packed with tension, dark humour, and shocking twists. If you love high-stakes survival stories with a smart edge, this is one you can’t miss.

Dracula: A Love Tale (6th February)

Dracula fans and beyond, get ready for a film that trades terror and gore for the tragedy of a 15th-century prince who loses his wife and spends eternity searching for her reincarnation. Think gothic romance rather than gothic horror – Luc Besson’s Dracula: A Love Tale is a sweeping epic about a doomed lover, not a monster.

Crime 101 (13th February)

If the powerhouse cast of Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, Mark Ruffalo, and Barry Keoghan isn’t enough to grab your attention, add a high-stakes jewel heist brimming with stylish tension and slick production values, and this crime thriller truly has it all. Hemsworth plays a jewel thief with a moral code who teams up with Berry’s disillusioned insurance broker, while Ruffalo delivers as the relentless detective hot on their trail. Smart, sharp, and packed with suspense—this one’s a must-watch.

Psycho Killer (20th February)

From the writer behind Se7en, this is no ordinary slasher. Psycho Killer delivers slick suspense and unnerving emotional depth, pulling you into a revenge mission that’s as gripping as it is brutal. Georgina Campbell stars as a determined cop on the hunt for the Satanic Slasher – the sadistic murderer who tore her world apart. Expect layers, not clichés: horror laced with crime drama, psychological tension, and a whisper of the supernatural. It’s smart, stylish, and seriously unsettling. Go and see it if you dare.

Scream 7 (27th February)

Sidney’s back—and she’s not alone. Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox return as Sidney and Gale, joined by some faces we never thought we’d see again. With the original Scream writer now in the director’s chair, expect a twisty ride that mines our favourite elements of this franchise. Here’s a flavour: a mother and daughter hiding inside the walls of their own home as Ghostface slices through them. It’s relentless horror, amplified for the ultimate big-screen scare.

March

Hoppers (6th March)

Eco-conscious and full of heart, Pixar’s latest adventure brings comedy and quirk in spades. Hoppers imagines what happens when an animal-loving teen stumbles upon a lab experiment that lets her transfer her mind into a wild creature – just in time to join a mission to save a threatened habitat. It’s cute, clever, and packed with sci-fi twists, as our hero faces off against a greedy mayor (voiced by Jon Hamm) who’s determined to destroy the wilderness. This animated sci-fi adventure marks Pixar’s 30th feature film, and it promises big laughs, bold visuals, and a story that celebrates nature in true Pixar style.

The Bride! (6th March)

Christian Bale returns to the dark side, while Jessie Buckley dives into her first horror role. The Bride! is part Bride of Frankenstein, part punk-rock Bonnie & Clyde, with Maggie Gyllenhaal in the director’s chair. Expect bold visuals, twisted romance, and a genre mash-up that’s as stylish as it is shocking.

Project Hail Mary (20th March)

Project Hail Mary is landing March 20 with Ryan Gosling: ‘Ryland Grace. I just woke up from a coma. I’m several light years from my apartment—and I’m not an astronaut.’ That’s the hook for this epic sci-fi survival story. The first trailer smashed records with 400 million views in a week, and it’s easy to see why. Ryan Gosling brings humour and vulnerability to a role that feels instantly relatable, even in the depths of space. From the writer behind The Martian and already being compared to Arrival and Interstellar, this is currently one of 2026’s most talked-about releases. We can’t wait.

The Dog Stars (27th March)

Ridley Scott returns with a rare book adaptation — a post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama that’s about survival. Expect a story of isolation, friendship and flickers of hope. Jacob Elordi stars as a civilian pilot holed up in an abandoned airport hangar with his loyal dog, and ex-Marine (Josh Brolin) – until the radio crackles to life, hinting at the possibility of a brighter tomorrow.

April

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (3rd April)

The sequel to the hugely successful The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) is set to be one of the year’s biggest family hits. Expect nostalgia, humour and vibrant animation in a galaxy-spanning adventure. May

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu (22nd May)

Will Grogu’s role shift? There’s plenty of fan speculation – and whispers of a new sidekick entering the scene. Expect a light-hearted, family-friendly adventure with emotional beats and a healthy dose of nostalgia.

June

Masters of the Universe (5th June)

Barbie had her moment in the cinema sun – now it’s He-Man’s turn. This iconic toy has been waiting decades for a big-screen revival, and it’s finally here. Meet the most powerful man in the universe: a hero with superhuman strength and speed in a world where science and magic collide. Expect unparalleled sword skills, fierce hand-to-hand combat, and jaw-dropping visuals in the exquisitely crafted realm of Eternia – complete with soaring mountains, shimmering seas, and twin moons.

Toy Story 5 (19th June)

Jessie the cowgirl now runs Bonnie’s room, with Buzz Lightyear as her trusty deputy. But how can they pull Bonnie’s attention away from her new obsession – Lilypad, a frog-like tablet? It’s tech versus toys as the gang battles for screen time in a world where gadgets rule. Sounds impossible, right? A reunion with Woody might just give Jessie and Buzz the backup they need.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (26th June)

If you’re expecting the shiny, upbeat TV Supergirl, think again. This Kara is tough, scarred, and far from simple when it comes to moral choices. Filmed on IMAX and driven by Nolan’s trademark preference for practical effects over CGI, this promises a truly cinematic experience – breathtaking, ambitious, and packed with themes of time, endurance and resilience. Lots to be excited about.
