Brand new trailers that have just dropped
Supergirl (26th June)
This is one for the hot mess girlies. A contrast to the seemingly perfect and clean cut Superman, James Gunn's DC Universe is expanding with Milly Alcock as Supergirl. A little more rough around the edges, this girl loves to party away her past trauma, but an unexpected adversary means she reluctantly must join forces with an unexpected ally to bring about justice.
Dune: Part Three (17th December)
The conclusion to Denis Villeneuve's Dune trilogy comes at the end of the year, and the first trailer for Dune: Part Three revealed plenty of surprises. A book to screen adaptation that will take inspiration from Frank Herbert's second book in the Dune Chronicles, Dune Messiah, see how this space epic will end for Timothée Chalamet's Paul Atreides, the Padishah Emperor.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day (31st July)
We finally got our first look at Tom Holland's next outting as Spidey – and fans also think we may have got our first clues on who Sadie Sink's character will be. Everyone has forgotten who Peter Parker is and he's largely turned his back on his alterego. But, four years later, he is pulled in to protect his city, and his powers experience a potentially dangerous evolution.
Masters of the Universe (5th June)
There's a new hero on the block (sort of) based on Mattel's franchise of the same name. Nicholas Galitzine returns to our screens in a different light (currently starring in 100 Nights of Hero) as Prince Adam Glenn, otherwise known as He-Man. This sword sorcery film sees Adam spirited away from his wartorn home to his mother's home planet, Earth, at ten years old. Now all grown up, he is set to return to Eternia and claim his birthright.
Moana (10th July)
Another Disney live action is on the way – and this time its a more recent animation adaptation. 2026's Moana is taking to Motunui where the ocean calls to Moana to help save her people. Moana will be played by Catherine Laga'aia, with real life demigod Dwayne Johnson returning as Maui, and we've got our first full length trailer.
The End of Oak Street (14th August)
It is the year of Anne Hathaway with this just being one of many films she is set to star in in 2026. Alongside Ewan McGregor, this scifi survival film follows a family whose once fairly mundane existence in suburbia is turned upside down when it is uprooted and transported someplace unknown.
Disclosure Day (12th June)
Get ready for a Steven Spielberg original with the countdown to Disclosure Day. Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colin Firth, and Colman Domingo are amongst its stacked cast, which sees America wake up one day to government secrets being released for the world to see, revealing the existence of life in space.
Latest trailers for upcoming releases this year
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (1st April)
Ready for another adventure beyond the plains of Mushroom Kingdom? Mario and Luigi are back and zooming off into outer space to face off Bowser's son, Bowser Jr. While the first trailer gave us a glimpse of the latter's glow-up, the latest trailer gives us our first look at the adorable green Yoshi, who will join Mario's team alongside Princess Peach to fight this battle.

The Drama (3rd April)
The Robert Pattinson renaissance continues – and we are so here for it. A24 is bringing us Zendaya alongside RPatz (a dream!) in this portrait of an engaged couple who's impending nuptials are sent into a tailspin when one discovers shocking truths about the other. We've just got our first full length trailer, and holy moly this looks great. As the dynamic shifts when said truth is revealed, prompted by the question "What's the worst thing ever done?"... Well, the tension is palpable.
Michael (24 April)
We know we're in safe hands with Bohemian Rhapsody producer Graham King bringing to the silver screen a biopic of the King of Pop himself. Michael stars Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson's newphew, as the legendary muscian, and the latest trailer finally gives us a sneak peak at his voice, which sounds eerily like his late uncle's. One thing is for sure, this is sure to be a talked about title!
The Devil Wears Prada 2 (1 May)
We've finally got our first full length trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2, and Miranda Priestly is just as cutting and iconic as she ever was. We see as herself and Andy are reunited, and it takes Stanley Tucci's character to place her in Miranda's memory. Then, of course, there's the face off between Miranda and her old assistance, Emily, who's gone up in the world and is now opposing Miranda from a rival company.

Toy Story 5 (19 June)
It's not just us adults that are having their attention span ruined by screens (we only mean the small kind, the cinema obviously doesn't count), kids are also being put on screen time limits left, right, and centre. And Toy Story is finally address the elephant in the room with the somewhat unexpected release of Toy Story 5 next summer. Did we all think our time with Woody and Buzz was done after Toy Story 4? Sure, but we're more than happy to be returning to Bonnie's bedroom, where the age of toys might well be over... The first teaser trailer has dropped, and no one does it like Pixar!
The Odyssey (17th July)
Christopher Nolan is known for his epic films, so why not take on an epic story? Homer's The Odyssey is hitting the big screen this summer with a sprawling A-list cast list, including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, and Zendaya. And we've finally got the first heart-stoppingly good trailer.
Street Fighter (16th October)
Between the next Super Mario movie and Mortal Kombat, 2026 is stacked with video game movie adaptations. And 2026 will also see the release of Street Fighter, too, starring Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Jason Momoa, and more. Heavy on the fist throwing, the teaser trailer also looks incredibly fun (and maybe even a little bit silly).
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (20th November)
With Wicked all done and dusted this year, Lionsgate is swooping in and taking its slot in the movie release slate with The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Suzanne Collins has clearly been working closely with Lionsgate for another prequel of the original The Hunger Games trilogy, given Sunrise on the Reaping only came out in book form in March 2025. But its movie adaptation is hot on its heels, telling the backstory of the beloved Haymitch and his experience in the Second Quarter Quell. The cast for this is outstanding. They really nailed the likedness in younger versions of the likes of Haymitch, Effie Trinket, Plutarch, and President Snow. And you can watch the first Sunrise on the Reaping trailer below.
The Mandalorian and Grogu (22nd May)
Djarin and Grogu are breaking out of that small box and upgrading to the big screen with the latest Star Wars epic. The New Republic employs The Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to protect the new regime as the remaining Imperial warlords threaten the new status quo.
Avengers: Doomsday (18th December)
From Cyclops getting the recognition he deserves to Steve Rogers and Thor both becoming parents, Marvel Studios has been drip feeding teaser trailers over the last couple of weeks – and we're so ready for this giant ensemble of superheroes to hit the big screen on 18th December. Check out the latest X-Men teaser, with Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen returning.
