You may have heard, Cineworld Unlimited turns 25 this year, and we’ve been taking a trip down memory lane. From our Unlimited Film Season, bringing back some of the most iconic titles over the last two and a half decades including the LOTR trilogy and La La Land, to introducing the joy of Unlimited to new customers with our limited time only 25% off Unlimited offer.
Of course, Unlimited would be nothing without its loyal members, so we asked you if you could remember the first film you saw after signing up to Unlimited. From members who have been waving their Unlimited card since the beginning to more recent subscribers, it’s time to pass it over to you…
You’ve not got long left to sign up and get 25% off Cineworld Unlimited. Costing the equivalent of two cinema tickets per month, save on either a 3 month or 1 year membership and use the code UNLIMITED25 before the deal expires on 13th July.
First up, Fahad actually saw one of the movies in our Unlimited Film Season, showing this week, and that was… Well, we’ll let you decode Fahad’s clues.
Hint #1: it's one of July's Unlimited season selections

Hint #2: it's ironically super good 👌
Yep, Superbad! Make sure you’ve booked on to watch it on 10th July if you haven’t already!
Some of you have been here since practically the beginning, with these two old timer repping choices from 2002, when Unlimited was just two years old!

Time to introduce a platinum card for us old timers! 😎
Got my UGC card way back in 2002 and will always remember my first 2 films. Donnie Darko and then 28 Days Later. Have tons of fond cinema memories 😊

Not forgetting this early noughties banger!

We hope you’ve used your Unlimited membership to book on for 28 Years Later since, Benjamin!
A couple of X users even celebrated the fact Unlimited has meant watching films they may not have otherwise bothered with – and ended up loving them!
Best thing about Unlimited is going to see films that you wouldn’t normally pay to see on its own.

Green Book was best example of this for me, as was an absolutely stunning film
One of the first, and the first I wouldn't have gone to see without Unlimited, was 'I Love You, Phillip Morris'

Cinema, eh? What we do without it.
Of course, over the last 25 years (and beyond) there have been plenty of superhero movies packed in, and people’s first experience of Unlimited saw everything from Marvel to DC to…Spiderpig!
In fact, Natalie started her journey with Unlimited at the same time as the MCU in 2008 with the release of Iron Man.
Iron Man! Start of unlimited and MCU!

On the flipside, Lee enjoyed a slice of DC with Batman vs Superman. We hope you’re booked and ready for James Gunn’s Superman, coming out this Friday, Lee!
Probably batman v superman

To the song that’s been running circuits in our head ever since.

Cineworld Unlimited has even been there for you during the holidays. Dan treated himself to a post-Christmas screening of Gulliver’s Travel in 2010.

And because Unlimited members know how to party, X user John created his own double bill with Wall-E followed by Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. Well played, John.
Wall-E at Cineworld Runcorn, and then The Dark Knight a few hours later.

One thing that brings us joy is the idea of Unlimited reintroducing the joy of cinema, which is exactly what happened when this X user signed up and saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
I got mine in prep for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. Whatever is said about the sequels, they got me back watching movies again.
