Cineworlders were suitably chilled and grossed out by our latest Secret Screaming movie, Heart Eyes. This witty and devious twist on slasher horror movie tropes centres on a mysterious masked killer targeting amorous couples on Valentine's Day. It falls to the central duo Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding to unmask the psycho and bring the carnage to an end.
With its gruesome, 18-rated kills and self-referential screenplay, the film owes more than a debt to genre classics like Scream. Happy Death Day filmmaker Christopher Landon is credited as one of the writers and producers, which accounts for the movie's blackly comic sense of humour.
Will you be watching Heart Eyes this Valentine's Day? The following reactions should act as an added incentive – just remember to book your tickets at the end of this post.
I have to say I'm glad it was #HeartEyes which was a fun Rom-Com-Horror with some great slasher moments and gory bits, with a twist of laughter to make it a very entertaining film. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Josh Reuben can do no wrong in my (heart) eyes!
😍
I loved it, it was very funny with a lot of great kills and twists and turns, I'd call it half way between Scream and Happy Death Day (by the same writers).
