Marvel Studios' Eternals opens up a new realm of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), advancing us further into Marvel Phase Four. In this sweeping epic from Oscar-winning director Chloé Zhao (Nomadland), a group of ancient super-beings must fight to protect mankind from the rampaging Deviants, and the cast is simply out-of-this-world.
Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden and Gemma Chan are just some of the actors breathing life into the Eternals collective. Each of the Eternals is imbued with powers and abilities, so if you don't know your Sprites from your Ajaks, you've come to the right place. Scroll down to find out more.

Played by Lia McHugh
An Eternal who is perennially locked in a pre-adolescent body, Sprite has the ability to project astonishingly realistic illusions.

Played by Barry Keoghan
At the start of the movie, the reclusive Druig has retreated from the Eternals collective and now lives in the Amazon rainforest. He can control the minds of other people.
3. Ajak
Played by Salma Hayek
The wise and compassionate leader of the Eternals, Ajak has carved out a quiet life on a Dakota horse ranch, until the re-emergence of the Deviants forces her to seek out her old comrades. Gilgamesh is possessed with extraordinary strength and has been tasked with watching over fellow Eternal Thena.

11. Sersi

The most empathetic and compassionate member of the Eternals collective, Sersi cares deeply about humanity, to the extent she's gone incognito as a curator at London's Natural History Museum to keep a close eye on proceedings. She's in a relationship with human Dane Whitman (Kit Harington), but her heart belongs to Ikaris.
