In a game of ‘What’s your kryptonite?’Clark Kent himself, otherwise known as David Coresenswet, admitted to enjoying talking through films.
To celebrate the arrival of James Gunn’s Superman onto the big screen, Cineworld got to sit down and interview David Coresenswet and his co-star, Rachel Brosnahan, who plays Lois Lane.
The pair shared whether or not different movie related scenarios were their kryptonite – AKA something they’d steer clear of – or not.
When asked how they felt about people who talk during the film, both David and Rachel were quick to call ‘kryptonite’ – but then David threw another take right out of left field… He does actually quite enjoy talking while watching a movie. Just not at the cinema.
He said, “For what it’s worth, just in a movie theatre, unacceptable. At home, love talking through a movie. It’s one of the best- It’s one of my favourite activities.”
While Rachel was absolutely appalled, claiming she would never watch a movie with David, he did very sweetly add it was why he and his wife were perfect for each other.
“It’s one of the reasons my wife and I are meant to be together, because she accepts me talking through a movie. And also enjoys it sometimes.”
The co-stars also talked through sweet versus salty popcorn and whether it was essential you watch the trailers before the film starts. You can watch the full game below. We also put these hard-hitting questions to director James Gunn.
