A Minecraft Movie

If your kids love playing the Minecraft videogame – and even if they don’t – they’ll fall head over heels with Jared Hess’s big-screen blockbuster, which recreates the Overworld’s beloved cubic landscape in spectacular style. A Minecraft Movie doesn’t just look great, though – featuring a cast that includes Jack Black as master crafter Steve, and Jason Momoa as Garrett Garrison, it’s packed with breathtaking action sequences and moments that’ll make them laugh out loud. Disney’s Snow White

Eighty-eight years after Disney released the animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the Brothers Grimm’s much-loved fairytale returns to the big screen in live action form. Marc Webb’s ravishing reboot casts West Side Story actress Rachel Zegler as the titular princess, and Gal Gadot as her nemesis the Evil Queen. The Penguin Lessons

Critics have been raving about this new comedy drama, which sees British TV legend Steve Coogan team up with… you guessed it, a penguin. Directed by Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty) and based on the memoirs of Tom Michell, The Penguin Lessons centres around a British teacher working in Argentina who gains himself a waddling friend after rescuing the stricken creature from an oil slick. With Coogan at his hilarious best, and “aah” moments aplenty, this charming flick is a heartwarming treat for the whole family.

Babe (30th Anniversary)

Cinema’s most famous talking pig is back for a special 30th anniversary screening this Easter. Adapted from a Dick King-Smith novel, Babe tells the story of a cute piglet who, after being won in a farming competition, turns out to be a dab hand at sheep herding. Charming and at times hilarious, Chris Noonan’s live action adventure was not only a huge box office hit upon its initial release in 1995, but it also received several Oscar nominations.
