Action man Gerard Butler is on a mission to save a stricken passenger plane in the new movie called... you guessed it, Plane. The Olympus Has Fallen star plays the brilliantly named Brodie Torrance, a top airline pilot who crash-lands his stricken jet on a remote island where he and his crew rapidly run into another problem.
It turns out the island is populated by violent militia members who then take the surviving passengers hostage. It falls to Brodie and a criminal under FBI custody, Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), to put their differences aside and save the day.
Plane screened for Cineworld Unlimited members in advance of its release date and we've curated some of their reactions below. Scroll down to read them and discover why Plane ought to be on your moviegoing radar.
It was an incredible film, very scary though and it certainly met my expectations of what I enjoy in a plane crash film very similar to Flight and Sully. @GerardButler was a true man on a mission throughout the duration! The story is very well written! Score: 9/10! Grade: A! ✈️👨✈️

that's what a disaster film should be! get to know the characters, drop them in it, find a way out. no irritating side quests caused by irrational behaviour, and no time wasted on irrelevant themes. i expected so little, but Plane delivered shedloads! long live Gerry B.

Sets up well and once gets going doesn't let up.
Cracking everyman just trying to survive performance from GB with great support from Mike Colter and Tony Goldwyn.
It's an easy film to recommend to people.
Fantastic performance from Gerard Butler, great character chemistry, gory at times, and very intense. Loved it! Something I’d definitely rewatch given the chance
