Last night Cineworld Unlimited members had the pleasure of dancing through life with Tom Hiddleston in the latest Stephen King book-to-screen adaptation. This time, though, we’re swapping horror for something far more joyous in his genre-bending tale of a remarkably ordinary man, Charles Krantz, working backwards through the highs and lows of life.
On the precipice of the end of the world, The Life of Chuck also stars Chiwetel Ejlofor, Karen Gillan, and Mark Hamill alongside Hiddleston, with his younger counterparts played by Jacob Tremblay, Benjamin Pajak, and Cody Flanagan.
Able to book your tickets to watch The Life of Chuck at Cineworld when it's released on 20th August, Unlimited members have been able to enjoy a preview screening – and they absolutely fell in love with this beautiful story.
Many X users were completely enchanted by The Life of Chuck and all the ways in which it both mirrored life and transported them away from reality.
Really existential yet life affirming film. Don’t go in expecting it to be entirely realistic or grounded in reality. Just go along for the ride, and enjoy all the joys that Chuck’s universe has to offer. As per its message.

I thought it was refreshingly different. Wasn’t sure where it was going till well into Act 1 (the 3rd part) but a beautiful distillation of the philosophy of Carl Sagan & the poetry of Walt Whitman to create something truly unique.

And Tom Hiddleston sure can dance. Enough of an incentive to see the movie alone? We think so!
I throughly enjoyed it. Beautiful performances and boy can Tom dance…I loved that whole sequence. Honestly, didn’t entirely understand everything going on but I just went along with it and let it engross me. 🌌

Eddie has even given the adaptation the accolade of his best film of the year – so far!
Absolutely fantastic. Mike Flanagan really understands Kings work, this is an incredible adaption. Probably the best film I’ve seen this year so far

With Adam adding the book to his TBR pile (to be read, FYI).
Absolutely loved it, now I'm going to read the book.

You can tell when everyone is gripped by a film, when you can hear a pin drop from start to finish…..
No rustling. No munching. No restlessness. No talking, kicking seats etc…
This was definitely one of those 👏👏👏👏
And very much in our feels if Ryuji’s GIF of choice is anything to go by.

We’re not crying, we’ve just got a new lease of life stuck in our eye. And so have these Unlimited members.
A beautiful rich extraordinary film about life and basically to live each day like it's your life. It's deeply moving. The cast are amazing. Mark Hamill was fantastic. I've not watching that's deeply moving like that. It's a film that everyone needs to see. Thank you for this
