Valentine's Day is just around the corner and we're inviting Cineworld Unlimited members to celebrate with a special advance screening of What's Love Got To Do With It? The inclusive and multicultural rom-com screens on Valentine's Day itself and promises to wrap viewers up in a swooning, feel-good experience.
The brains behind Bridget Jones and Love, Actually present this tender and insightful story of clashing cultures and unexpected connections. The buoyant Lily James (Baby Driver) stars as young documentary maker Zoe who decides to chronicle her Pakistani neighbour's arranged marriage, from initial planning through to the eventual ceremony in Lahore.
However, the handsome Kazim (played by Penny Dreadful's Shazad Latif) has been Zoe's friend since childhood and his feelings for her aren't so easily suppressed. This is despite the respective misgivings of his mother Aisha (Bollywood star Shabana Azmi) and her mother Cath (Oscar-winner Emma Thompson).
Expect a visually exuberant and uplifting journey as Zoe and Kazim's discoveries take them down unexpected avenues. Former journalist turned screenwriter and producer Jemima Khan collaborates with Working Title producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, both rom-com veterans in their own right, and acclaimed director Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth), to complete the movie's impressive pedigree.
What's Love Got To Do With It? screens at Cineworld on February 14th, so we look forward to seeing all you romantics there for Valentine's Day.
