While unconfirmed, there certainly feels like something final about the eighth Mission: Impossible movie as Ethan Hunt faces up to the reality: our lives are the sum of our choices. One of the most ambitiuous films yet in the action movie franchise, Tom Cruise returns as IMF agent Hunt. Alongside him is Grace, portrayed by Hayley Atwell, in this direct sequel to Dead Reckoning that sees the pair race against time to unearth the Entity, artificial intelligence that has grown sentient, and stop it before it has the potential to destroy mankind.
